Reminder – School Start – September 9

Lambton-Kingsway Families,

Traditionally, the first day of school for students occurs the Tuesday after Labour Day, the 2021-2022 school  year is different.  This is a reminder for all families and students that the 2021-2022 school year begins for our students on Thursday, September 9th.   The entry bell rings at 8:30 a.m.

To all our families who celebrate Rosh Hashanah on September 7th – 8th, we wish you a good and sweet new year.  Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year.  It is a time for rejoicing and a time for introspection.  Families spend time reflecting upon the previous year and also look ahead with hope to the coming year.  It is celebrated with gatherings, traditional foods and prayer.  Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the period of 10 Days of Awe leading up to Yom Kippur, the most sacred holiday in the Jewish religion.

Shanah Tovah!
