Good morning LKS Families.
We hope all of you are well.
As we are now a couple of hours into the new procedures, first and foremost we want to thank you for your cooperation as we all work through this together.
In short, if a child has one or more new, or worsening COVID-19 symptoms, parents are now be required to:
- Keep their child home.
- Keep siblings and other children home, even if they do not have symptoms.
- Arrange for the child to get tested or contact their health care provider.
- Without testing, the child must stay home for 10 days.
- Monitor the family for symptoms. Adults must stay home if they have one or more symptom.
The Student Screening Tool attached below is clear and concise and we find the flow chart on the second page very helpful.

The student health pass and app has also been updated to reflect the changes. Please find the paper pass attached below.

No matter the outcome, all students that have been away from school are required to bring the Return to School form with them. This will help us track those that have been away and are now cleared to return.
