Pretty quiet week at school so not much new to report. We are preparing for our Remembrance Day ceremony which will obviously look a little different this year and finalizing report cards which will be sent home on Monday November 16. The online booker for parent/teacher interviews will be open until the end of the day and our staff will confirm all arrangements with you in the coming days.

PAUL DAVIS ONLINE SAFETY – Monday, November 9th at 7pm
Please join LKS Parent Council on Monday, November 9th at 7pm for a virtual parent education event. We are pleased to welcome back Paul Davis to present Protecting Children and Empowering Parents re: Online Safety, Social Media and Privacy.

STONEGATE HOLIDAY DRIVE
Parent council is excited to announce that we will still be holding our annual drive to support Stonegate Community Healthcare. Each year LKS partners with Stonegate to provide families with much needed items for the holidays. This year, we are focusing on a Gift Card Drive so that we can all adhere to Covid protocols. Plans are underway so stay tuned and you will be hearing from your grade parents in the coming days about how you can contribute.
RECESS & OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT
Thank you to all the families who have donated equipment for the students to enjoy during outdoor play and recess times. Your generosity is much appreciated!
