Dear LKS families,
We hope you are all keeping well during this challenging time.
We wanted to provide you all with some updates from Parent Council for the rest of the school year:
Springfest 2020:
As you have likely guessed, Springfest will be canceled this year. We are so grateful to our volunteers who had already spent time organizing committees and soliciting donations. We would also like to thank our community sponsors who were planning to support us again this year. We look forward to planning Springfest 2021!
Pizza lunches:
Pizza lunches will also be canceled for the rest of the year. Since payments were already received in January, we would ask you to consider allocating your unused funds as a gift to Parent Council and we can use those funds to help with our budget for next year. The funds will support resources like Artists in the School, RAZ kids, IXL & Scientists in the School.
If you would like to allocate your remaining pizza lunch funds as a gift, then no further action is needed; however, if you would prefer to receive a refund for the outstanding amount, a refund will be processed as soon as possible. The deadline to request a refund is Monday May 4th.

Parent Council Meetings:
Parent council meetings are canceled for the remainder of the year. We do encourage all parents to utilize the resources that parent council has funded this year including IXL & RAZ kids. Please reach out to your child’s teacher for access to their user names and passwords.
