Parent Council News and Activities Details:
Parent Council Meeting – Monday, June 17, 2019
The next meeting is Mon. June 17, 7pm in the LKS Library. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Childcare will be provided in the computer lab during the meeting.
Springfest Fundraising Total
Springfest was another successful event for the LKS community. Kids had a blast, volunteers and team work made it all possible. Big thanks to all the Springfest Committee’s and volunteers that made this possible.
The Springfest Committee is pleased to announce that the net proceeds from this year’s event is $25,000!
These funds will directly support programs for the 2019-2020 school year, including Forest of Reading, author visits, scientists in the classroom, theatre performances, athletics, IXL online math and RAZkids online reading.

Lost and Found Announcement
Thursday, June 20, 2019 – We will gather the Lost and Found items and donate them to the Jean Tweed Centre.
The Lost and Found is overflowing with hoodies, lunch bags, water bottles and more. Please have your children check the Cubby Shelves and Hooks on the South Hallway of the school.

Cookie and Ice Dawg sales will continue every Wednesday until the end of the school year,
Terry Fox t-shirts are available to pre-order now. Your child(ren) should have already brought home the order forms. A table will be set up outside of the office, before school and after school, starting on Wednesday June 12 – 14 and again June 17 – 20. Come out and see the new t-shirts and try them on for size! Youth shirts are $15 and adult sizes are $20. All money raised goes directly towards our fundraising totals. The last day for orders will be June 20. Don’t be disappointed, order yours today. T-shirts will be delivered in September. No shirts will be available to order in the Fall, so get your order in today!
