Donations Needed (sofa/chairs) for the School Office
Are you redecorating and don’t know what to do with your leather or leather-like couches and chairs? The LKS office is the hub of the school with many students and parents coming and going, causing some wear and tear on our furniture. We are looking for donations of couches and/or chairs that can be easily cleaned (e.g. leather or leather-like). If you happen to be looking for a home for your lightly used furniture, please let us know.
Terry Fox Update
Starting on Wednesday May 22, during lunch, the Terry Foxers will once again be selling Terra Cotta cookies (triple chocolate chip, oatmeal, and new this year, vanilla butterflies), as well as, Ice Dawgs (chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches). All products are 100% nut free and they are delicious! Cookies are $2 and Ice Dawgs are $3.00. Come out and support a great cause!
The new Terry Fox t-shirts will be available to pre-order in June. Information will be sent home with each student closer to the time.
Thanking you in advance for your support and helping to keep Terry’s dream alive …. finding a cure for cancer!
Grade 6-8 Concert
Thursday May 16 at 6:00 p.m. All students are asked to be at school for 5:30 p.m. and the concert will be approximately 30 minutes in length.
Unfortunately, only our band students will be performing this year as our strings program continues to be on hold. We apologize and hope to have this solved as we move into 2019-20.
