In this week’s Bulletin, you will find information on: Parent Council News and Activities: Parent Council Meeting – Monday, February 25, 7 p.m. The next meeting is Mon. February 25, 7pm in the LKS Library. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We need your involvement! Childcare will be provided in the computer lab during the meeting. Mrs. Hall will be attending the meeting to provide an update on the Willy Wonka musical. School News and Activities Details: Volunteers for Kindergarten Registration Needed We look forward to welcoming our newest LKS members! To help with the Kindergarten registration process and welcome our new members, we are looking for parent volunteers. Volunteers are needed to greet the registering parents and children and hand out snacks provided by LKS, making them feel welcome to and excited about their new educational environment. If you are able to volunteer, please sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e084da9aa2aa5ff2-kindergarten and contact Krista Harrison at kaharrison@gmail.com if you have questions. Willy Wonka Musical Get excited!!!! We are counting down the weeks until our Willy Wonka performance. Show dates are as follows: April 8th matinee, 1pm including both casts April 9th Cast 1, 6:30pm April 10th Cast 2, 6:30pm. All tickets are free and will be obtained on a first come first serve basis Monday March 25, Tuesday March 26 and Wednesday March 27. A table for tickets will be set up in front of the main office and will be available for pick up from 8:15 until student entry as well as 3:17 to 3:45. There will be an audience maximum for each performance. There will not be assigned seating. Please keep that in mind when picking up your tickets. FYI – Parents who won silent auction tickets at the Parent Social will be given priority. Given the fact that we are close to final performances, we are requiring additional efforts from cast members to be available for after school practices on given dates and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday lunch hour rehearsals. We are currently looking for parent volunteers to assist with organization of costumes prior to and during performances as well as parent volunteers to assist in organization of props for performances.
