The next meeting is Mon. January 28, 7pm in the LKS Library. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We need your involvement! Childcare will be provided in the computer lab during the meeting.
LKS Online Customized Clothing
We’ve partnered with Entripy.com, Canada’s leader in custom apparel, and set up an online school spirit wear shop. Check out our LKS Branded Storefront http://lambtonkingsway.entripyshops.com/. Dozens of items are available from t-shirts, to hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants, toques and more from well-known brands like Gildan and Under Armour. Choose from an assortment of LKS logos and even customize your clothing with your child’s name. Create an account, customize your item(s) and have your order shipped direct to your home. Any questions, please contact Sara Beveridge at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent-Teacher interviews will take place the week of February 11 to 15. Teachers will be sending home notification if they would like to meet with you. If your child’s teacher does not request a meeting and you would still like to schedule a time, you are very welcome to do so. The booking system opens the morning of Monday, January 28. To book an appointment, follow these simple steps.
Library Update: Forest of Reading
Forest of Reading has once again begun at LKS. It is the Ontario Library Association’s Canadian reading program. At LKS we run 4 different levels of the FOR program: K-2 Blue Spruce, 3-4 Silver Birch Express, 5-6 Silver Birch and 7-8 Red Maple.
The grade 3-8 programs are voluntary programs and I am very pleased to let parents know that the program has well over 100 students participating this year! There are incentives as the students work their way through our passport and the program will end with an exciting pancake breakfast to begin our voting day in April. We will conclude with a celebration lunch where we announce the winners in May.
THANK YOU to the School Council for funding this worthwhile program!
