Library Update: Forest of Reading Forest of Reading has once again begun at LKS. It is the Ontario Library Association’s Canadian reading program. At LKS we run 4 different levels of the FOR program: K-2 Blue Spruce, 3-4 Silver Birch Express, 5-6 Silver Birch and 7-8 Red Maple. The grade 3-8 programs are voluntary programs and I am very pleased to let parents know that the program has well over 100 students participating this year! There are incentives as the students work their way through our passport and the program will end with an exciting pancake breakfast to begin our voting day in April. We will conclude with a celebration lunch where we announce the winners in May. THANK YOU to the School Council for funding this worthwhile program! After School Programs – See Attached
