Parent Council News Details: Pizza Lunches for January to June – Order Deadline December 15 Pizza lunch orders are now accepted for the rest of the school year. To order, please log into your School Cash Online account and select one of the two options:
Order deadline is December 15th. No late orders or cash will be accepted after the deadline. Pizza Lunch dates are: Jan 25th, Feb 22nd, Mar 29th, Apr 26th, May 31st, and Jun 27th (Lunch on the Lawn) Your participation is greatly appreciated, as all funds raised go to LKS. Holiday Concert – Volunteers Needed for Stage Decoration A fun opportunity to decorate the stage for the primary/junior holiday concert! Props required: Christmas tree, wrapped gifts, toy box, snowflakes and other seasonal decor to be placed on/around the stage. Set-up required by 12pm on Wednesday, December 12th. Parent Council is tracking the attendance and will report to the city of Toronto transportation department, Councillor, Mark Grimes, Trustee, Patrick Nunziata and Mayor Tory. Crossing guards are supposed to be on duty at the Prince Edward crosswalk and the Government/Prince Edward intersection during the following times: 8:15- 9:00 am, 11:15 am-12:35 pm, 3:05 – 3:50 pm. Please report absences by email to SchoolCrossingGuard@toronto.ca and copy LKSsafety@gmail.com Every two weeks we will compile the absentee data and email a summary report to the City. In the meantime, please remind your children about road safety especially when crossing. Stonegate Christmas Hampers Dec 5-17 & Drivers Needed Dec 19th Our hamper campaign in support of Stonegate Community Health Centre will pair each class with a family in our community experiencing hard times. Grade parents will be provided with information about their partner families, as well as a list of items the families have said that they need. Your grade parents will provide you with more information about your partner family and coordinate donated items. We are so proud of our LKS community, and the generosity of spirit that this initiative reflects, on all your parts. Thank you in advance for your participation! School News and Activities Details: The following items are now available for order and payment at www.schoolcashonline.com Lunchtime Milk (January to March) – Milk will be on sale in November for the months of January to March. 52 school days x 75 cents = $39.00 To order more than one carton of milk, please change the quantity number. 6” and 12″ Subway Lunch (January to March) – Subway Lunch Dates: Every Monday in January to March except for Tuesday, February 19 and during the March Break.
